Monday...A Sunny Morning in Florida

The sun came out for us this morning & we stayed on the beach & played 'til noon. James & Mike left to play golf this morning, so it was Mo & me with the kids...we had fun. The camera likes the sunshine much better! :) We took a swim in the pool to cool off then up to the room for lunch...Caleigh's napping & the boys are drawing....ahhh...love me some quiet time on vacation! (With no laundry to do, kitchen to clean, errands to run, dogs to walk....you get the idea!) There's a little storm blowing through now....I think these little pockets of rain are supposed to start fading tomorrow or Wednesday. I really don't mind them; it's keeping the temps down in the high 80's which is perfect for staying out longer periods of time on the beach with the kids & my fair skin!

Learning to make Sandcastles....

We spent the morning on the beach making sandcastles & jumping waves. The boys are having a blast in the water (even tho it's too much seaweed for me; hopefully it will go away soon...they said the water was clear as a bell until Thursday.) Caleigh's been asleep since 1:00....I think we wore her out!!! The men played golf at Indian Bayou. The Leonard Skynard concert on The Boardwalk is tonight; it looks like rain. I've nixed the idea of taking the kids. There are supposed to be about 10,000 people there tonight. No thank you! I get nervous just taking mine to the mall! We may drop the guys off & go back & pick them up; evidently the parking is a nightmare.

On The Beach....ahhhh...nice.....

A Beautiful Day on Okaloosa Island....We were on the beach three times today. Fun times! We went out to eat when our friends got into town...The Crab Trap. Yummy! We had a few sprinkles off and on, but a wonderful breeze and some cloud cover from time to time made for a pretty cool day and offered lots of time on the beach. I'll take it!
