Carnival Time
We went to Athens last weekend for the Fiddler's Reunion on the square. The little carnival was going on at the same time....well...with 3 kids you know where we ended up! After corn-dogs & funnel cake & visiting with some of James' old friends from High School, we spent our evening at the "way too crowded with weird people" carnival....the kids had a blast! I was glad when it was time to go...it was fun watching them, but I just do not do crowds well! You're amazed I loved HCMC & Hanoi now, huh?!?!!!! I took a ton of pics & will upload to FB, but here are my favorites!
Also, I am thinking of starting a new blog on WordPress...for those of you who use it, do you like it better than blogger???

I *Heart* My Blog Book!
Sorry about the glare...I didn't have much time! Oh, & nothing is blurred as it appears on my pics...that's just because I still haven't figured out this fancy camera to get everything in focus!!!
I recently had my blog printed into a book....2 years worth of entries! I LOVE IT! It came in the mail today...a couple of days early as it is my birthday present to myself! This cements for me that I will continue to blog. I can make a book once every year for under $100. Much cheaper than scrap-booking & I'm not that crafty or committed to the scrapbook thing anyway...kudos to those who are as they make wonderful gifts to pass along to your children someday! Mine will get a book :) In case you are interested, I had it done using SharedBook Blog2Print....Now, I may have to read it cover to cover (200 + Pages) tonight to remember the past 2 years!

Field Day & My Big Girl!
The boys had Field Day last Tuesday at school. It was the first time I left Caleigh with a babysitter...my sweet niece is now 16 & so responsible! So, I didn't worry a bit & had a great time out with the boys. We still have another week of school...boo!
On another note, my little girl is getting so big all of the sudden! She wants to play what the boys are playing & is actually really good with Legos since she is double-jointed in all of her fingers & can manipulate the hair & hats on & off, etc. of the little "man" as she calls them. She is trying to talk like crazy & is copying everything we say...her new words she added today are "play" & "golf-ball"
She doesn't cry anymore when we drop her at her Sunday School class. Thank goodness! It took exactly 4 weeks until we took her without tears....sweet girl!

She's Been Our Little Girl For 11 Months!
It has been 11 Months since Caleigh became our little girl! Blessed, grateful, lucky, overjoyed...no word seems to be enough to describe how we feel about this little soul! She is perfectly wonderful! Her favorite toy is her new Weeble Wobbles & their town/playground. She is so cute when she plays with it! She runs around & around it "spinning" like her Weebles do! Sweet girl...we just love her so much. In a month, we will celebrate our 1st Forever Family Day! Amazing!

Mother's Day Weekend
Mother's Day weekend was nice. We went to my mom & dad's on Saturday & James' family's home on Sunday after church. My first Mother's Day as a mom of 3 & the business didn't disappoint! Here are a few pictures from my mom's house (I left my camera sitting on the table by the back-door when we went to J's mom's....) Caleigh is getting more & more animated & trying to run...she is kinda at a jog right now....saying lots of words & trying to repeat everything we say. She didn't want to take a nap today at all!!! She did under duress! Sat. & Sun. threw her off schedule in a big way, so I'm hoping she'll sleep good tonight since J is out of town for the week.

Just Play Time....
The last few days have been so nice. The weekend was crazy busy & not much down~time. Yesterday was a "Monday". We had the Jog-A-Thon fundraiser at the boys' school & Caleigh & I 'worked' from 9:30 ~ 1:00. She crashed for a nap & then after school was just "play time". The boys played the Wii (until the arguing started!) and C & I just hung out watching. She loves her hats....she got up from her nap & picked one off the hat rack in my washroom. So funny this girl!
I have forgotten how busy May is...not much sleep for me lately & I'm reminded that I'll be 39 very soon, thus turning 40 next summer. It's kinda old don't ya think? Ugh!
