Well...June is coming to an end...it was all good except for the trip to the "ER", as Caleigh calls it now....so, tonight I will post a picture of something I hope to never see again with my daughter's name on it (or my boys' for that matter!)

Monday, June the 28th

How can it be the end of June already??!!! This month has really flown by! The boys started their Soccer Camp this morning...despite the heat, I heard no complaints, so we're back for day #2 tomorrow. After Caleigh's nap, she decided snack time on the kitchen floor with her blanket was a good idea :) The boys went to work building a "fort" in Bryce's room a little while ago...it really is just too darn hot to send them out to play this time of day. This is totally off the subject, but I have found a new show I like: Pawn Shop. The setting is in Las Vegas and they get some really cool stuff come in...I am actually learning some History while I watch it! Pretty cool...check it out!

The boys always call it a "field trip" when we take a day-trip somewhere. I think it's funny! We went to the big Kilgore, Texas to the Junior College Campus where the East Texas Oil Museum is located on Saturday. My grandparents used to take me there when I was a kid...man, it looked a lot bigger then! It hasn't changed much & our kids really enjoyed it. Lots of history & some hand-on things to do. It was nice & air conditioned (a must this time of year!) After the museum we went to eat Mexican food for Caleigh's "Gotcha Day"...her choice! This girl can put away some cheese enchiladas!!! Today was church, lunch & the dreaded grocery store trip....tomorrow starts a new journey...my friend & I are starting the 30-day Shred program. Hope I can walk on Tuesday! The boys have Soccer Camp this week....so, let the driving begin! It's all the way across town....of course it is....

Happy 2nd Forever Family Day!

Two years ago today, the Vietnamese Government granted us the right to be this little miracle's mommy & daddy. She's growing up....so beautiful (even with 2 black eyes!)....

...but she's still my baby....

....and she's a little stinker! She is 2 1/2 after all!!!

HAPPY 2nd GOTCHA DAY Caleigh Grace!!! I cannot imagine our lives without you in it!

Friday At the Pool

The Barn Swallows were out in droves today. I just love them. They flew all around and above the pool while we were swimming. There must have been around 20 total. They would rest on the wire that ran parallel to the pool-house.

We spent the afternoon at the pool. My SIL is in Crystal Beach, so we had the pool all to ourselves. I got a little too much sun. It stinks being a red-head during the summer. The kids had fun. Caleigh is holding her nose & breath and dunking under the water by herself. I'm not allowed to do it, but she'll do it by herself. She is so independent. Tomorrow is her 2 year Gotcha Day Anniversary! Can't believe 2 years have passed already...so quickly!

The Last Day of Basketball Camp, Snakes & Eggs

Bryce working on his wooden snake. You can buy these at Michaels for $1. They come in wooden sheets & you punch out the pieces and put your animal together. They're going to paint them tomorrow. It made for a good hour project while Caleigh napped....
