Happy 11 Months Caleigh!

Today my baby is 11 months old! I thank God every day that He gave us hearts for adoption! Thank You for entrusting us with this precious little girl. We are forever grateful that we have been chosen by You to be her parents!!! I love her more than words can say. She is such the little trooper! I am so happy that we get to see her little knees & legs again! She was up & rocking trying to crawl last night during her "free from braces" time....she'll be moving in no time. Happy 11 Month Birthday day Caleigh! We're off to the Book Fair at school with her big brothers & then we'll wait & see what Hurricane Ike is going to bring us.....

What does this date mean?
Well, this is the day I wrote down on my calendar that I can feel the spirit of our daughter. Has she been born on this day? Relinquished to the orphanage on this day? Did God just wake me up on this day to her presence? I wonder....I guess we will wait & see, but here's the date. Documented. I'm so curious!

Follow Up: Now we know the answer....this was the day that Caleigh's birth mother relinquished her into the care of the Red Cross CanTho Orphanage.

God Is Good!

Through our adoption journey to bring our twin boys home 6 years ago, our Faith was tested! We had an 18 month wait for them! In the end, true to His Plan, we were united with our children & became a forever family. The wait for a daughter is now added to our lives. We will wait & maybe a little more patiently now. As we have now learned the true lesson: All things happen on "God Time", not ours. Pray with us while we wait for the health and happiness of little Caleigh Lydia~ Grace, wherever she may be!
