Happy 1st Birthday Caleigh!

A baby was born in CanTho, Vietnam on this day last year.....

On the day we celebrated her Daddy's Birthday.....
Today there will be 2 Birthdays to Celebrate!

Our little girl turns 1 today! What a difference a year makes! On this day last year when we were celebrating her Daddy's Birthday, Caleigh was born. 9 months later she would become a part of our family! Happy Birthday Daddy & Caleigh!!! Party at 2:00 if you're in the neighborhood!

What does this date mean?
Well, this is the day I wrote down on my calendar that I can feel the spirit of our daughter. Has she been born on this day? Relinquished to the orphanage on this day? Did God just wake me up on this day to her presence? I wonder....I guess we will wait & see, but here's the date. Documented. I'm so curious!

Follow Up: Now we know the answer....this was the day that Caleigh's birth mother relinquished her into the care of the Red Cross CanTho Orphanage.

God Is Good!

Through our adoption journey to bring our twin boys home 6 years ago, our Faith was tested! We had an 18 month wait for them! In the end, true to His Plan, we were united with our children & became a forever family. The wait for a daughter is now added to our lives. We will wait & maybe a little more patiently now. As we have now learned the true lesson: All things happen on "God Time", not ours. Pray with us while we wait for the health and happiness of little Caleigh Lydia~ Grace, wherever she may be!
